Consultant – Software Implementation & Technical Analysis

Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)

Location – Maidenhead

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and technically strong Consultant to join our professional services team. You’ll play a key role in implementing logistics and enterprise software solutions for global clients, acting as a bridge between business needs and technical delivery.

This is a hands-on role combining business analysis, configuration, API integration, SQL troubleshooting, and solution support. You’ll work closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to gather requirements, run tests, resolve issues, and guide successful deployments.

️ Responsibilities

• Gather, clarify, and document business and functional requirements
• Configure software solutions to meet client needs
• Develop and execute system and integration tests
• Troubleshoot issues using SQL queries and API tools
• Support end users during UAT, go-live, and post-implementation
• Deliver user training and documentation
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure solution alignment
• Assist in estimating effort and defining scope during pre-sales and delivery phases
• Provide integration and architecture guidance

Skills Required

• 3+ years' experience in software implementation, consulting, or technical support
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills
• Experience with APIs and understanding of software integration
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Client-facing experience and professional demeanor
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A keen interest in software and business process improvement

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Background in business analysis or QA/testing
• Experience working on logistics, ERP, or enterprise software projects
• German skills

Education & Travel

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (minimal)
