Start here. Grow here. We are seeking a full-time BIM/CAD Specialist within the Building Engineering Division at one of AECOM's UK offices (London, Edinburgh, Manchester). The role involves supporting the design and support services for BMS systems across various sectors including office fit out, mixed-use, industrial, and government projects. The BMS team will be part of the Technology engineering group, working closely with Mechanical and Electrical teams.

Responsibilities

1. Perform complex CADD assignments and coordinate drawing production under the guidance of the CADD manager.
2. Utilize advanced applications in computer-aided design and drafting, including software like AutoCAD or MicroStation, to meet project deadlines.
3. Digitize sketches or concepts from designers using CADD software.
4. Make decisions based on understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve results efficiently.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• HNC level related engineering qualification or Degree in building services engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science.
• Good knowledge of BMS systems (e.g., Trend, Tridium, Niagara) gained through relevant industry experience.
• Chartership or working towards it.
