A logistics compliance firm in England is looking for a proactive Compliance Officer to manage daily compliance activities. You will maintain compliance records, perform audits, and lead risk assessments while ensuring adherence to ISO standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in compliance within regulated environments and strong communication skills. Qualifications
- Experience in compliance, audit, or regulated environments, preferably in logistics.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and willingness to learn additional compliance frameworks.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve policies, SOPs, and compliance records.
- Lead risk assessments for various areas including cyber.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
Skills
We are looking for a proactive Compliance Officer to manage day-to-day compliance in a fast-paced logistics environment. You’ll play a key role in audits, risk assessments, policy management, and accreditation readiness, with real scope to grow.
- Monday – Friday
- 9am-5pm
- Maintain and improve policies, SOPs, and compliance records
- Lead risk assessments for people, vehicles, facilities, and cyber
- Deliver internal audits and support ISO 9001/14001 compliance
- Manage customer, supplier, and third-party compliance
- Coordinate training and maintain compliance matrices
- Produce reports and support continuous improvement
- Experience in compliance, audit, or regulated environments (logistics, transport, defence preferred)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001/14001; willingness to learn ISO 27001/Cyber Essentials Plus
- Strong risk assessment, organisation, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
- Full UK driving licence; must meet SC clearance eligibility
