Our client, a leading asset manager is seeking to hire an ESG professional to help analyse and integrate ESG issues into the investment process

Reporting to the Head of ESG Integration, this position will play a vital role in influencing Portfolio Managers and Analysts to assess the implications of sustainability issues for investment decisions.

The main responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute ESG Integration strategy across public equity and fixed income strategies
• Produce thought pieces, white papers and blogs on a diverse range of sustainability topics such as climate change, waste management, human rights, diversity, employee issues, and corporate governance
• Build effective relationships with Portfolio Managers and Analysts across regions and asset classes to enable integration of ESG factors into investment process
• Conduct deep dive quantitative research projects on ESG topics which will involve data analysis, data management and write-ups of the results
• Attend investment meetings and discuss sustainability topics

The successful candidate will have:

• 2-4 years’ previous research experience in ESG or sustainability (e.g. climate change, human rights, corporate governance)
• Degree educated
• Passion for responsible investing and ESG issues
• Understanding of ESG drivers
