Candidates must be qualified accountants with strong interpersonal skills and high-level Excel capability. The position offers hybrid work with travel required to the North West once or twice a month.
Commercial Finance Business Partner
SF Recruitment are seeking an interim Commercial Finance Business Partner to join a well-established financial services organisation. This role will give you exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on strategic and operational decision-making.
Hybrid: 2-3 days on site
The Role
As Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will:
Work closely with senior stakeholders, providing financial insight and challenge to drive commercial performance and inform strategic priorities.
Take responsibility for budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, ensuring financial objectives are aligned with divisional goals.
Deliver clear and insightful management reporting, translating complex financial data into meaningful recommendations.
Build and review financial models to support investment appraisals and assess project outcomes.
Act as a finance lead on working capital initiatives, including invoice discounting and factoring.
Liaise with auditors and ensure financial governance and compliance requirements are met.
Your Background
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.
Strong track record of partnering with senior leaders in a financial services environment.
Proven ability to interpret financial performance drivers and present findings in a clear, commercial manner.
High-level Excel capability; experience with TM1 & Power BI
Resilient communicator, able to influence and challenge stakeholders effectively.
This role requires travel to the North west 1-2 days per month, please do not apply if you are not willing to do so.
