Job description

Do you want to be part of creating a safer world? Without thinking about it, you meet us in your everyday life – at home, in transit and at work. We are at the airport, where you commute, where you work, play and shop. Diverse in our offering, our customer outreach and in our mindset, Gunnebo is leading the transformation of the security business through digitalization and connectivity for the continuous development of smart entrance control and safe storage solutions.

If you are passionate about being part of an exciting transformation journey working with a global, multi-cultural and highly motivated organisation this is the opportunity for you. Gunnebo is small enough to see your ideas come true, and big enough to realize your career goals.

About The Role

This role requires being a team player who understands the need for confidentiality and can work efficiently under their own initiative as part of a friendly, supportive team and reporting into the European HR Business Partner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end HR lifecycle across global regions, supporting key areas such as Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, and Employee Engagement. A strong background in UK employee relations (ER) is essential, along with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage change effectively.

You will be a great relationship builder, be able to juggle multiple stakeholders, tailor and flex your style depending on the audience and most importantly be a great advocate of the brand and business.

Every day will be different! You could be providing advice and guidance on a variety of people issues, supporting a manager with restructures, supporting with a TUPE or working on an employee engagement project. It is essential that you have a generalist background and high knowledge of ER and employment law to be considered for this role. It would be highly advantageous if you have experience of operating across European countries.

What You Will Do
  • Partner closely with managers and leaders across the business to provide expert guidance on employee relations, fostering a culture of trust, fairness, and accountability.
  • Act as a proactive advisor and communicator, influencing global stakeholders and collaborating across functions to deliver impactful people's solutions.
  • Apply your broad HR generalist expertise within a matrixed, fast-paced environment, supporting the design and execution of initiatives that enhance the employee experience.
  • Lead the evolution of people processes across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring they are efficient, inclusive, and aligned with business goals.
  • Manage projects and stakeholders with confidence, balancing competing priorities while maintaining a clear focus on outcomes.
  • Use your deep understanding of employment law and ER best practices to guide managers and employees through complex and sensitive situations.
  • Leverage your strong analytical mindset and Excel skills to ensure data integrity, generate insightful reports, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Stay highly organised and adaptable, managing multiple workstreams with precision and a continuous improvement mindset.
Who we are looking for

If you love change, are naturally inquisitive, enjoy delivering and supporting employees across a variety of markets, then this could be a great opportunity for you. You'll be a great relationship builder who builds trust and credibility through proven delivery. You will be able to support the growth of the business and be curious to uncover other HR Projects the business may need help with. You’ll be proactive in developing possible solutions and take initiative to create positive employee experiences. You'll be flexible, enjoy working in an office 2 days a week, be a team player and have a positive attitude.

Qualifications
  • Excellent knowledge of UK Employment law
  • Solid understanding of European employment law is highly desirable
  • Previous experience of handling complex employee relations cases
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and relationship management
  • Having worked with global payroll implementations is highly desirable.
  • Experience in creating, applying and embedding HR policies and procedures
  • CIPD qualification is desirable (but not essential)
  • Data-driven mindset with a passion for working with Excel and HR analytics, used to telling a story with data.
  • Experienced user of HRIS systems
  • Detail-oriented and analytically minded
  • Highly organized and adaptable
  • Proactive and hands‑on
