A healthcare organization in Guildford is seeking Receptionists for their Emergency Department. Successful candidates will handle patient registration, assist with patient care, and support communication between patients and healthcare teams. The role requires excellent IT and organizational skills, with the ability to manage stressful situations professionally. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, supportive team working in Emergency Care. The Emergency Department is a friendly, exciting place to work currently undergoing a large transformational project with exciting new developments and opportunities. We are looking for Receptionists to work on our friendly reception desks in the Emergency Department. The successful candidates will undertake a variety of reception duties including working on our A&E, SDEC, AMU and Guildford Ward Reception and processing Patient data. You will also act as a focal point of communication between Patients, Ambulance Crews and Medical / Clinical staff. The successful candidates will have a friendly and professional attitude, good IT and organisational skills and be able to accurately complete / input data. The successful candidate will also need to be able to deal with difficult and stressful situations with courtesy and empathy. The Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including bank holidays. You will be rostered to work a range of shift patterns which include days, evenings, nights and weekends. This will be planned 6 weeks in advance.
