About Us: We are a well-established ductwork manufacturing company based in Middlesbrough, known for delivering high-quality solutions to clients across a range of sectors. As we continue to grow, we're looking to add a skilled and motivated Sheet Metal Worker to our workshop team.
The Role: As a Sheet Metal Worker, you’ll be an integral part of our manufacturing process, working within a busy workshop environment to help produce ductwork and associated components. You’ll be using a variety of hand tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal parts to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manufacture and assemble sheet metal ductwork and components
· Operate fabrication machinery (e.g., guillotines, lock former, roller, folder, etc.)
· Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications
· Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail
· Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
What We're Looking For:
· Previous experience in a sheet metal fabrication role
· Strong practical skills and experience using workshop machinery and tools
· Ability to read engineering drawings
· Good work ethic and a positive attitude
· Ductwork manufacturing experience is not essential but will be considered an advantage
