Job summary

A leading catering group in the UK is seeking a Combined Mess Manager to oversee daily operations in catering, hospitality, and accommodation services. This role requires proven leadership experience in hospitality, a strong understanding of safety regulations, and excellent management skills. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance, foster a positive workplace culture, and deliver outstanding client satisfaction while meeting financial targets. This position offers a full-time contract at £27,500 per annum.

Combined Mess Manager - MOD Boscombe Down

Monday to Friday with occasional weekends

Contract Type:

Full Time - £27,500 Per Annum

What you’ll do:
  • Lead daily operations across all Catering, Hospitality & Accomodation services within the mess.
  • Drive excellence in health & safety, food safety, and compliance standards.
  • Oversee budgeting, invoicing, and stock control to meet financial targets.
  • Manage team performance, training, and development, fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Coordinate functions and events, ensuring outstanding client satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at all times.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
