We are working with a leading Grantham based manufacturing company, which has undergone significant investment and transformation.

• This role ensures that nonconforming materials identified, documented and handled according to company procedures to maintain product quality and compliance within my clients organisation.
• Perform visual, dimensional and functional inspections of incoming materials, parts and products according to drawings, specifications and standards.
• Review supplier certificates of compliance, test reports and other relevant documentation.
• Use precision measuring tools and equipment such as callipers, micrometres, gauges and other tools and ensure that these are maintained and calibrated to standard.
• Document inspection results accurately in logs, databases or quality records.
• Identify and segregate nonconforming materials and communicate findings to relevant departments.
• Collaborate with the Purchasing and Engineering teams to resolve supplier quality issues.
• Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives related to supplier quality.
• Follow safety protocols, quality policies and work instructions.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality inspection (preferably in manufacturing/automotive industry).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficient with ERP system (Desirable).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, able to liaise across functions, with internal teams and external suppliers and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• On offer is a full‑time permanent contract with an annual salary of £28,000 to £30,000.
• Working hours of Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00 with an early finish on Friday.
• 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
