Ruby Developer - Remote - UK based - Up to £85 K - SaaS

Christopher Ali has partnered with an innovative UK-based SaaS start-up that is at a pivotal point in its growth and requires a Senior Ruby Developer to join the team.

They have developed industry-leading software for several household names and are preparing for their next stage of expansion.

The Role :

The company is looking for experienced developers who are excited about building innovative solutions. Due to unique business and technical challenges, they need problem solvers capable of tackling complex issues.

The ideal candidate has extensive commercial experience in developing secure, scalable, and maintainable applications.

The tech stack mainly includes Rails, along with Python and Go for supporting services.

They value pragmatic use of the best tools to solve problems and expect candidates to lead the development of core technology stacks across multiple languages and frameworks.

Skills Required :

• Experience with Rails (or similar frameworks)
• Experience managing large systems with a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) approach
• API development and integration experience
• Experience testing complex applications using test-driven development
• Designing, building, and maintaining full-stack applications
• Experience with image manipulation tools like OpenCV is a plus

This is a fully remote role. The team is distributed across the UK and abroad. While meetings and social events are occasional, daily work will be from home.
