The ideal candidate has extensive commercial experience solving problems in secure, scalable, and maintainable ways.

The current tech stack includes Rails extensively, along with Python and Go for supporting services.

The team is pragmatic, choosing the best tools for each problem, and candidates will lead the development of core technology stacks across multiple languages and frameworks.

Skills Required :

• Experience with Rails (or similar frameworks)
• Experience managing large systems (following SRE principles)
• API development and integration experience
• Experience testing complex applications using TDD
• Proven ability to design, build, and maintain full-stack applications
• Experience with OpenCV or other image manipulation tools is a plus

This is a fully remote role. The team is distributed across the UK and internationally. While occasional meetings and social events are held, daily work is remote.
