Christopher Ali has partnered with an innovative UK-based SaaS start-up that is at a pivotal stage of its growth and is seeking a Senior Ruby Developer to join their team.

They have already developed industry-leading software for several household names and are preparing for their next phase of expansion.

The Role :

They are looking for experienced developers who are excited about building innovative solutions. The company faces unique business and technical scale challenges, requiring problem solvers to tackle these challenges effectively.

The ideal candidate has extensive commercial experience solving problems in a secure, scalable, and maintainable manner.

The current tech stack includes Rails extensively, along with Python and Go for supporting services.

The team values pragmatism in choosing the best tools for the job, and candidates will be expected to take a lead role in developing core technology across multiple languages and frameworks.

Skills Required :

• Experience with Rails (or similar frameworks)
• Experience operating large systems, following an SRE approach
• API development and integration experience
• Experience testing complex applications using a test-driven approach
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining full-stack applications
• Experience with OpenCV or other image manipulation tools (preferred)

This is a fully remote role. The team is distributed across the UK and abroad. While there are occasional meetings and social events, your day-to-day work will be from home.
