Christopher Ali has partnered with an innovative UK-based SaaS start-up that is at a pivotal growth stage and is seeking a Senior Ruby Developer to join their team.

They have already developed industry-leading software for several household names and are preparing for their next phase of expansion.

The Role :

They seek experienced developers who are excited about building groundbreaking solutions. Facing unique business and scaling challenges, they need talented problem solvers to tackle distinctive technical issues.

The ideal candidate has extensive commercial experience solving problems in a secure, scalable, and maintainable manner.

The current tech stack includes Rails extensively, along with Python and Go for supporting services.

The team values pragmatism in choosing the best tools for the job. Candidates will play a key role in developing the core technology stack across multiple languages and frameworks.

Skills Required :

• Experience with Rails (or similar frameworks)
• Experience managing large systems (following an SRE approach)
• API development and integration experience
• Experience testing complex applications using test-driven development
• Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining both frontend and backend applications
• Experience with OpenCV or other image manipulation tools is a plus

This is a fully remote role. The team is distributed across the UK and internationally. While occasional meetings and social events are held, daily work will be from home.
