Job Duties

• Under strict supervision, learns basic safety and repair procedures on PSL equipment using an internal competency process defined for this job role.
• Learns basic operations including: (1) performing pre/post job equipment inspections, (2) completing preventative maintenance procedures, (3) maintaining support equipment (e.g., pumps, discharge lines).
• Completes requisite training (essential math, essential red book, safety training, etc.) following internal career development processes.
• Assists Service Operators in cleanup, repair, and preparation for jobs.
• May assist during rig-up and rig-down of service line equipment at the worksite.
• Errors are readily identified by the supervisor and can be corrected.
• Must pass company tests and meet competency Task List requirements.
• Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Reading comprehension and writing skills are necessary.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Understands and promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness.
• Complies with all safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
• Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
• Participates actively in quality improvement processes (QIP).
• This is the entry-level position into the Service Operator job family.

Qualifications

• Skills are acquired by completing career development requirements in the internal competency learning management system for Operator Assistant I.
