A leading energy company is seeking two Land Officers based in Bonnybridge and Kilmarnock. These roles will play a vital part in securing land rights and statutory consents for electricity distribution projects. Successful candidates will negotiate with landowners, manage the complete land rights process and provide expert guidance on land rights strategies. SP Energy Networks is responsible for the distribution of electricity to homes and businesses across Central & Southern Scotland, Cheshire, Merseyside, North Shropshire and North Wales. We keep the lights on for over 3.5 million customers and work around the clock to ensure a safe and reliable power supply.
We're looking for two Land Officers to join our Land & Planning Team - one based in Bonnybridge and the other in Kilmarnock.
As a Land Officer, you'll play a vital role in securing the land rights and statutory consents needed for our electricity distribution network (33kV and below). Your work will directly support the delivery of infrastructure projects, customer connections, and ongoing maintenance activities.
Day to day, you will:
Your role is critical in balancing the needs of the business with those of landowners, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining strong relationships and safeguarding our network.
