Job Description
Established in 1985, Spiral UK is the leading manufacturer of bespoke staircases in the UK.
We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent factory supervisor to manage and lead a team of fabricator/welders and apprentices at our factory in Helston, Cornwall.
- Lead, manage and motivate the team by providing direction and goals.
- Organise workflow by assigning responsibilities and tasks.
- Serve as a role model and mentor and provide training and supervision to apprentices.
- Accurately complete all necessary documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained and make any recommendations for improvement.
- Supervisory skills and experience in managing staff.
- Proficiency in production schedules and production planning.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey information.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.
- Welding / Fabrication experience.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 16:30pm
Rate of pay: Between £30,000 and £40,000 p/a depending on experience.
