Required qualifications include relevant degrees in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and proven industry experience.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Tooling/Plastics processing required.
- Proven industry experience within a medium to high volume manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of high-speed automated assembly processes.
Responsibilities
- Undertake scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
- Monitor machine performance and respond quickly to breakdowns.
- Maintain production machinery and ensure sufficient spares.

A leading company in the Medical Technology industry, based in the Wiltshire area, is currently seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician. As the Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for providing electrical and mechanical support to all areas of manufacturing, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to GMP standards in clean rooms and controlled areas.
- Undertake scheduled preventive maintenance activities using SAP.
- Monitor machine performance and respond quickly to breakdowns.
- Maintain production machinery and ensure sufficient spares are available.
- Support continuous improvement activities and advise on technical issues.
- Relevant degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Tooling/Plastics processing, either through an apprenticeship or HND/Degree.
- Proven industry experience within a medium to high volume manufacturing environment.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with high-speed automated assembly processes and problem-solving on manufacturing machines.
