We are seeking a creative, organised, and proactive Art Technician to support the Art & Design department from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for the arts and a keen interest in supporting teaching and learning in a dynamic secondary school environment.

Duties as Art Technician:

• Prepare, organise, and maintain materials, tools, and resources for lessons

• Support staff and students during practical art sessions

• Ensure art rooms and equipment are kept clean, safe, and well-stocked

• Assist in the preparation and display of student artwork around the school

• Help manage stock levels and place orders for materials as required

• Provide occasional administrative support to the department

Ideal Art Technician:

• Have a background in Art, Design, or a related field

• Be well-organised, practical, and able to work independently

• Have good communication skills and enjoy working with young people

• Demonstrate a proactive and flexible approach to work as Art Technician.

• Understand the importance of health and safety in a practical classroom environment
