Job summary
A leading healthcare provider in Basildon is seeking a Senior Respiratory Physiotherapist to join their Critical Care and Respiratory team. This role requires experience in critical care and respiratory, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You will be responsible for patient assessments and implementing effective care plans. Qualifications
- Must be HCPC registered.
- Evidence of supervision of staff or students.
- The ability to work autonomously as a practitioner.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for physiotherapy intervention for patients admitted to CCU.
- Undertake assessments of respiratory outpatients as required.
- Prioritize physiotherapy referrals for effective caseload management.

This role allows an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our Critical Care and Respiratory team, who have wide ranging clinical experience, good communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient-centred care.

There is a well-established in-service education programme, where you can build upon your clinical and managerial skills with support from senior clinical leads.
Candidates will be expected to join and partake in our overnight emergency on call rota and weekend working rotas and previous experience of working within respiratory / Critical Care field is essential. You will also be expected to work as part of a seven day rota.
Within this role you will need:
- To be responsible for the Physiotherapy intervention for patients admitted to CCU and the acute respiratory adult in patient ward
- To undertake assessments of respiratory out patients as required
- Prioritise physiotherapy referrals in order to implement effective and timely caseload management
- Determine clinical diagnosis and provide physiotherapy treatment indicated as an autonomous practitioner, developing appropriate care plans, giving specialist clinical/professional advice to patients, carers and other Health Care Professionals

The salary for this role is £38,682 a year (Per Annum, Pro Rata for Part Time).
