A leading NHS trust in the UK seeks a Healthcare Support Worker Apprentice. This full-time role involves working alongside nurses in the Orthopaedic Outpatient Department, assisting with patient care. The ideal candidate should have a good standard of education and interpersonal skills. Benefits include flexible working hours and support for career development. This is a fixed-term contract for 14 months with a salary of £14,722 per annum.

Full time: 37.5 hours per week
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join our team of nurses and nursing assistants, within our busy and vibrant Orthopaedic Outpatient Department. You will be working alongside our consultant and nurse practitioner and nursing colleagues within Fracture clinic and plaster room; the apprentice will welcome the patients to the department, undertake routine observations and tests, whilst also working closely with patients to inform and educate them along their journey through the hospital. As the successful candidate, you will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and keen to learn and develop. You will be working under the direction of the registered Nurse and will work with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to contribute the provision of the highest standards of patient care.
