• Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families to determine their needs and the appropriate intervention strategies.
• Develop, implement, and review support plans in collaboration with children, families, and multi-agency partners.
• Manage caseloads effectively, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
• Make informed decisions and recommendations for children’s services, incorporating the child’s voice.
• Work directly with families to provide support and interventions, addressing issues of separation, loss, and other challenges.

• Significant experience in statutory child-care social work within multi-disciplinary settings.
• Strong skills in planning and delivering interventions with complex families.
• A deep understanding of child development, social work legislation, and systemic approaches.
• Confidence in managing risk, responding to separation and loss, and using the child’s voice to inform decisions.
• Recognised Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England, along with access to a car or mobility support.
