Optegra Uttoxeter Eye Hospital is seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our supportive Patient Services team on a zero-hour contract with flexible shifts. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, managing inquiries, handling billing, and providing general administration support.

The role offers up to £16 per hour depending on experience and a welcoming, inclusive work environment. Join a dedicated team committed to patient care and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in front-of-house/customer service.
• Experience with billing/accounts is desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.
• Proactive and able to prioritise under pressure.
• Proficient IT skills including MS Office suite.

Responsabilités

• Provide cover at the main hospital reception.
• Greet patients and visitors in a professional manner, in person and over the phone.
• Handle patient queries and direct to appropriate teams.
• Assist with billing and general administration tasks for the Patient Services team.
