Zusammenfassung

RGB Recruitment Ltd in Cornwall is seeking a Registered Service Manager–Young People to oversee an Ofsted-regulated supported accommodation service for 16–17 year olds. The role is permanent, full-time, 37 hours per week, with hybrid working and 2–3 days in Tolvaddon.

You will lead a dedicated staff team, ensuring safeguarding and regulatory compliance, high standards of care, and trauma-informed practice while building partnerships with local authorities and social care partners.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years' experience within supported housing
• Strong leadership and people management experience
• Good understanding of Ofsted Supported Accommodation Regulations and Quality Standards
• Excellent knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and Children's Services legislation
• Experience supporting vulnerable young people, ideally aged 16–17
• Understanding of trauma‑informed practice and adolescent development
• Strong communication, organisational and decision‑making skills
• Good IT skills and experience maintaining accurate records and reports
• Evidence of continuing professional development
• Full UK driving licence

Aufgaben

• Act as the Ofsted Registered Manager, ensuring full compliance with Supported Accommodation Regulations and Quality Standards
• Lead and manage the service, providing guidance, supervision and development to staff
• Oversee safeguarding, risk management and child protection procedures
• Prepare for Ofsted inspections, monitoring visits and regulatory reviews
• Ensure young people receive high‑quality, trauma‑informed support that promotes independence and wellbeing
• Monitor service performance, carry out audits and drive continuous improvement
• Maintain safe, high‑quality supported accommodation
• Build strong working relationships with local authorities, social workers, commissioners and partner agencies
