Job summary

RGB Recruitment Ltd in Cornwall is seeking an experienced Registered Service Manager to oversee an Ofsted-regulated Supported Accommodation for young people aged 16-17. You will lead a dedicated team, ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance, and drive service improvements in Tolvaddon and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience within supported housing - essential.
• Strong leadership and people management experience.
• Good understanding of Ofsted Supported Accommodation Regulations and Quality Standards.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.
• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Ofsted Registered Manager, ensuring full compliance with Supported Accommodation Regulations and Quality Standards.
• Lead and manage the service, providing guidance, supervision and development to staff.
• Oversee safeguarding, risk management and child protection procedures.
• Prepare for Ofsted inspections, monitoring visits and regulatory reviews.
• Ensure young people receive high-quality, trauma-informed support that promotes independence and wellbeing.
• Monitor service performance, carry out audits and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain safe, high-quality supported accommodation.
• Build strong working relationships with local authorities, social workers, commissioners and partner agencies.
