Job summary

Sellick Partnership is supporting a housing organisation to recruit a Registered Service Manager for an Ofsted-regulated Supported Accommodation Service for 16 and 17-year-olds. The role requires safeguarding expertise, regulatory compliance, and strong leadership to ensure high-quality, trauma-informed support.

The post is based in Tolvaddon with hybrid working and is a 12-month fixed-term contract, offering £45,000–£50,000 per year. A driving licence and enhanced DBS are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in supported housing or children's services.
• Experience managing or leading regulated services.
• Strong safeguarding and compliance knowledge.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Registered Manager and primary OFSTED contact for the service.
• Lead preparations for OFSTED inspections, monitoring visits, and regulatory audits.
• Provide visible leadership focused on safeguarding, inclusion and wellbeing.
• Ensure safeguarding concerns, incidents and risks are identified, reported and managed.
• Use audits and performance data to drive service quality and improvement.
• Ensure trauma-informed, strengths-based support promotes independence for young people.
• Oversee maintenance and safety of accommodation for young people.
• Build partnerships with local authorities, social workers, education providers and health professionals.
