Job summary

Care In Mind is hiring a Mental Health Support Worker for their Ramsbottom-based home. The role involves supporting young people aged 16-30 with mental health needs, promoting independence, and aiding education and daily living tasks.

You will update records and administer medications, while maintaining a safe, supportive environment. The position requires a full UK manual driving licence, willingness to drive the service car, and shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence - not automatic.
• Attend training on weekdays during employment.
• Good written skills to write basic reports and records.
• Basic IT skills for online care system and emails.
• Good verbal communication and listening abilities.
• Maintain professional working boundaries.
• Remain calm in emergencies and support others.

Responsibilities

• Update online care records and complete medication administration.
• Assist with education, household tasks and general life skills to promote independence.
• Maintain tidiness and general upkeep of the home environment.
• Work with young people to support transitions and community integration.
