Niyaa People Ltd is currently recruiting a Housing Support Manager to oversee a supported accommodation service for young people aged 16–25 with complex needs in Redditch. The role leads the day‑to‑day operations, supervises a team of life coaches, night staff and floating support workers, and ensures safeguarding and tenancy standards are met.

You will manage 52 units of supported accommodation plus general needs properties, work 40 hours per week, and start immediately on a temporary contract

Competenze

• Previous management experience within supported accommodation is essential.
• Experience working with young people aged 16–25, care leavers and those with complex needs.
• Understanding of safeguarding, challenging behaviour, homelessness and mental health.
• Confident managing staff, improving performance and maintaining service standards.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Positive, resilient and able to hit the ground running.
• Enhanced DBS required.

Mansioni

• Oversee the day‑to‑day management of the supported accommodation service.
• Manage and support a team of life coaches, night staff and floating support workers.
• Monitor safeguarding concerns, behavioural incidents and tenancy‑related matters.
• Ensure accurate support notes, records and administration are maintained.
• Monitor staff performance and challenge poor practice where necessary.
• Ensure policies, procedures and processes are being followed.
• Maintain positive relationships with young people, supporting them to sustain their accommodation and work towards positive outcomes.
