Job summary

Niyaa People is seeking a resilient Supported Housing Project Worker for a 3-month temporary role in Leicestershire. The role involves on-site support for 11 residents, tenancy sustainment, risk assessment, and collaboration with external agencies.

You will work 25 hours per week on a rota between 8.00 am and 8.00 pm, with Basic DBS clearance required. Start date around 12 November in a scheme at Whetstone, Blaby.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people experiencing homelessness in supported housing.
• Ability to complete needs and risk assessments and develop support plans.
• Comfort responding calmly to crises and challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support to residents to sustain tenancies and develop living skills.
• Conduct pre-tenancy interviews and financial capability assessments.
• Maintain records in Orchard and InForm systems and log repairs in Service Connect.
• Coordinate with external agencies for referrals and access to health services.
