Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking a Housing Support Manager for a Redditch-based service supporting young people aged 16-25 with complex needs. The service comprises 52 units with ~165 total. The role focuses on day-to-day management, strong leadership, safeguarding and high standards across the team.

The position is 40 hours per week, with shifts 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm and 2pm-10pm, one weekend in four. Temporary contract with potential to go permanent; immediate start; Enhanced DBS required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support a team of life coaches, night staff and floating support workers.
• Monitor safeguarding concerns, behavioural incidents and tenancy-related matters.
• Ensure accurate support notes, records and administration are maintained.
• Monitor staff performance and challenge poor practice where necessary.
• Ensure policies, procedures and processes are being followed.
• Maintain positive relationships with young people, supporting them to sustain their accommodation and work towards positive outcomes.

Housing Support Manager

Location: Redditch. Rate: £25-£30 per hour (Umbrella). Contract: Temporary, with potential to go permanent. Hours: 40 hours per week.

We're currently recruiting for a Housing Support Manager to join a well-established organisation, overseeing a supported accommodation service for young people aged 16-25 with complex needs in Redditch.

The service consists of 52 units of supported accommodation, alongside general needs properties, with approximately 165 units in total.

This is a key role for someone with previous experience managing supported accommodation who can take ownership of the day-to-day running of the service, provide strong leadership and ensure high standards across the team.

This position is offering:

Key responsibilities for the Housing Support Manager:

Working hours and shift patterns:

The role is 40 hours per week, working a mixture of 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm and 2pm-10pm shifts, with approximately one weekend in four.

There may be some flexibility around the shift pattern if you're unable to commit to the 2pm-10pm shifts. However, being able to cover these would be a massive advantage.

There is also potential for the position to become permanent further down the line for the right person.
