Job summary

The Fedcap Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Performance Manager to lead a remote team of Job Brokers across Cheshire. You will coach, develop and drive outcomes to help young people secure quality, sustainable employment.

This role combines leadership, outreach to employers, and KPI-driven performance management in a home-based setting. You’ll oversee a distributed team, foster strong employer partnerships, and ensure high-quality support for participants, while travel across Cheshire

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and developing teams in a target-driven environment.
• Natural coach who can motivate people and unlock potential.
• Strong performance management skills using data and KPIs.
• Experience in employer engagement, recruitment, business development or employability.
• Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lead across a remote or dispersed team.
• Good understanding of local labour markets and recruitment needs.
• Experience with youth employability or disadvantaged groups is desirable.
• Knowledge of apprenticeships, placements, reverse marketing or supported employment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a geographically dispersed team of Job Brokers to hit targets.
• Build a high-performing remote team through coaching and reviews.
• Drive employer engagement and vacancy generation with regional employers.
• Use performance data to identify opportunities and improve results.
• Build relationships with Jobcentre Plus, employers and training providers.
• Ensure young people receive high-quality, personalised support and are matched to roles.
• Promote innovative employer engagement approaches like reverse marketing.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and quality requirements while maintaining service quality.
