Job summary

Fedcap Employment in the United Kingdom is seeking a Performance Manager to lead, coach and inspire a team of Job Brokers focused on helping young people move into quality, sustainable employment across East and Central Lancashire. You’ll manage a remote team, drive KPI performance, build employer partnerships, and ensure high standards of service and programme delivery while travelling regularly.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a target-driven context.
• Ability to coach and develop staff for performance.
• Strong ability to turn data/KPIs into improvement actions.
• Experience engaging employers and creating opportunities for placements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Proven capability to lead across remote or dispersed teams.
• Good understanding of local labour markets and employer needs.
• Experience with youth employability programmes desirable.
• Knowledge of apprenticeships/placements would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a geographically dispersed team of Job Brokers to meet performance targets.
• Coach and review performance regularly to drive improvement.
• Drive employer engagement and vacancy generation across the region.
• Use data to identify opportunities, address underperformance and improve results.
• Build relationships with Jobcentre Plus, employers, training providers and other stakeholders.
• Ensure high-quality, personalised support for young people and match to sustainable opportunities.
• Promote innovative employer engagement approaches and bespoke opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, quality and operational requirements while delivering excellent customer experience.
