Bestway Group is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive end-to-end account management with retailers in the York area, focusing on sales growth and profitability across the territory.

Qualifications

• Able to understand a profit and loss account and financial information.
• Able to spot opportunities for growth and development.
• Knowledge of PC applications including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Outstanding presenting and influencing skills.
• Confident, driven self-starter with proactive mindset.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Achieve set sales plans and grow area sales in line with targets.
• Ensure profitability of the area against budgets, targets, and sales mix.
• Maximise retailer support for the independent brand.
• Oversee debt management with the support functions.
• Manage capital expenditure proposals and budgets for members.
• Ensure key accounts are serviced with tailored support.
• Deliver business initiatives on time with ownership and right first-time implementation.
• Identify opportunities for capital expenditure and development with members, working with the development team.
• Maintain knowledge of health and safety legislation and practices.
