Job Title : Year 5 Teacher

Provide Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to support one of our partner Primary Schools in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT with a passion for upper KS2 teaching. If you’re excited about helping pupils grow in confidence ahead of Year 6, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Year 5 curriculum
• Support pupils’ progress in core subjects, particularly in preparation for upper KS2 expectations
• Create a positive, inclusive and structured classroom environment
• Track, assess and report on student attainment and development
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, support staff and leadership teams
• Promote excellent behaviour and maintain high expectations

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Previous experience teaching in Upper KS2 (Year 5 or Year 6 preferred)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to deliver differentiated lessons and support a range of learning needs
• A nurturing, pupil-centred approach to teaching
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
