Salary: M1–M6 Pay Scale (Dependent on Experience)

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a thriving primary school seeking an experienced Year 5/6 Teacher to join their team from the end of September/early October 2026. The Role

As the Year 5/6 Class Teacher, you will take on full teaching responsibilities, including:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
  • Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress.
  • Marking in line with the school's policy.
  • Creating an inclusive classroom environment where every child can succeed.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.
  • Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally upper KS2.
  • Has a strong understanding of SEN and effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Is an excellent communicator who builds positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
  • Is passionate about raising attainment and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Is committed to helping every child reach their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
