Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers Limited is seeking a reliable Yard Team Member to support day-to-day operations in our yard and feedstore in Penzance. This hands-on role focuses on stock handling, customer service, and keeping external areas neat and welcoming for members and customers.

You’ll work with the Stock Supervisor and team, delivering excellent service at the counter and yard, while complying with health and safety standards, GDPR awareness, and internal procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in a yard, warehouse, or retail environment (preferred).
• Familiarity with agricultural or countryside settings (beneficial).
• A forklift truck licence (advantageous).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
• Good IT skills and confidence using systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Awareness of Data Protection / GDPR and Health & Safety standards.
• You’ll be friendly, self-motivated, and adaptable, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service and working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Yard Team Member

Compensation: £10.85 - £12.71 / hour

Description

We’re looking for a hardworking and customer-focused Yard Team Member to support the day-to-day operations of our yard and store. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll help maintain a safe, organised, and welcoming environment for our members and customers, while working collaboratively with colleagues across the business.

About The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Part-time

Hours of Work: 30Hours per week, working on a rota basis

As a Yard Team Member, you’ll play a key role in stock handling, customer service, and maintaining high standards across external areas. You’ll support the Stock Supervisor and wider team to ensure efficient operations and a positive experience for everyone who visits the store.
