Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers Limited in Witheridge is seeking a friendly Yard Team Member to help keep the yard running smoothly and provide excellent service to members and customers. You will support stock handling, assist customers, and work closely with the Site Foreman and store team.

The role focuses on keeping areas tidy, safe, and well‑organised, with a 40‑hour week, Monday to Friday, and a permanent full‑time contract.

Qualifications

• Experience in a yard, warehouse, or retail setting.
• Able to work outdoors and handle stock.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Willing to follow processes and safety procedures.
• Forklift licence advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide helpful, solution‑focused support.
• Handle counter duties efficiently and confidently.
• Build product knowledge in assigned categories.
• Support stock handling, deliveries, and seasonal adjustments.
• Help resolve out‑of‑stock issues proactively.
• Keep the yard clean, safe, and well‑organised.
• Follow health & safety, UFAS, and other compliance procedures.
• Pitch in with other tasks and support a positive team environment.

We’re looking for a friendly, hands‑on Yard Team Member to join our team at Witheridge. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in keeping things organised, and like helping customers find what they need, this role could be a great fit. About The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full‑time

Hours of Work: 40 Hours per week, working Monday to Friday

As a Yard Team Member, you’ll play a key role in keeping the yard running smoothly. From helping customers and handling stock to keeping the site tidy and safe, your work will make a real difference to the day‑to‑day experience of our members and customers. You’ll work closely with the Site Foreman and store team and be part of a business that’s proud to support British agriculture.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and offering helpful, solution‑focused support
• Handling counter duties confidently and efficiently

About You

• Experience in a yard, warehouse, or retail setting
• Familiarity with agricultural or countryside environments is a plus
• A forklift truck licence would be an advantage
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
• Comfortable using IT systems and managing multiple tasks
• Friendly, self‑motivated, and adaptable
• Committed to delivering high standards and great service
