Overview

We are pleased to advertise an exciting opportunity within West Yorkshire Police's Economic Crime Unit. As a Financial Intelligence Officer, you will play an extremely important role in tackling illicit finance for WYP.

Responsibilities

• Support Financial Investigators and help develop financial intelligence to identify assets.
• Assist in money laundering, fraud, and asset recovery investigations.
• Undertake financial research on behalf of several specialist teams within Protective Services Crimes to assist major investigations including locating wanted offenders.
• Work in a high-pressure environment.

Location

The role will be based in Wakefield and once fully trained, the successful applicant will be able to utilise both office and agile working (subject to local agreement).
