Job summary

A local primary school is seeking a Casual Wraparound Care worker to support their Breakfast Club and After School Club. The ideal candidate will ensure safe and enjoyable play opportunities for children and maintain effective communication with parents. Flexible hours are required from 7.15am to 8.30am and from 3.15pm to 5.45pm, covering different days Monday to Friday. Job description

Norton Hill Primary are looking for Casual Wraparound Care worker to work within our Breakfast Club and After School Club.

Are you looking for a career with young children or continuing your education and are looking for a job to work around Sixth Form!

Our wraparound care provision is extremely popular and to continue supporting our families we require to expand our team. We are looking for a dynamic flexible hard working and reliable individuals to work as part of our friendly team.

You would be required to work from 7.15am -8.30am and 3.15pm / 3.30pm - 5.45pm. Hours would vary depending on the number of pupils from nursery to Year 4 (Year 5 from September) attending our wraparound provision. Some shifts would only be 1hr long and will be on different days covering Monday to Friday.

Salary - Grade 1 Point 3 - 12.45ph

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Overview) :
  • Provide safe creative and appropriate play opportunities.
  • Ensure that all activities are carried out within an equal opportunities framework.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships and communications with parents to facilitate day to day caring needs.
  • Ensure that activities are carried out in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Ensure that food provision is carried out within the guidelines of the Food Safety Act 1990.
  • Ensure that a wide range of creative and enjoyable activities are offered.
  • Ensure that play meets the full range of childrens individual and group needs.
  • Ensure smooth running of the provision
