Wraparound Care Assistant

Breakfast Club & After‑School Club – Primary School (Crawley)

We are currently seeking a friendly and reliable Wraparound Care Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Crawley area, supporting pupils before and after the school day.

Working Hours
  • Breakfast Club: 7:30 am – 8:45 am
  • After‑School Club: 3:45 pm – 6:00 pm
Role Responsibilities
  • Supervise and engage children in a safe, caring environment.
  • Support play‑based activities, games and quiet tasks.
  • Assist with snacks and promote positive behaviour.
  • Always ensure safeguarding and wellbeing.
  • Work as part of a supportive school team.
The Ideal Candidate Will
  • Have experience working with children (school, childcare or care settings).
  • Be reliable, patient and enthusiastic.
  • Understand the importance of safeguarding.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.
Must have
  • Ability to work well independently and as a team.
  • Passion to support and empower children and young people.
  • DBS on the Updates Service or willing to obtain one.
  • Commitment to safeguarding students and young people.
