Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services (Uk) Plc is seeking a Stores/Parts Administrator to support stock control, parts sourcing, and documentation across a fast-paced fleet operation.

The role requires meticulous records, strong communication, and the ability to manage stock for mobile workshop vans and remote sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of a wide range of vehicles and parts.
• Ability to work to strict time constraints.
• Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets/Docs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain job cards through the repair process by capturing parts and consumable usage to allocate the cost correctly.
• Ensure that all parts are managed end to end using the Fleet Management System.
• Ensure that all parts-related documentation is administered in line with company policy.
• Maintain adequate stock lines and regimes with regular stock takes and reconciliation.
• Unloading/loading of deliveries.
• Sourcing parts at the best price and quality.
• Upkeep and tidiness of the stores at all times in line with health and safety policies.
• Regular supplier reviews to ensure value for money and service.
• Maintain the stock supply to mobile workshop vans and remote locations as required.
• Ensure timely return of repairable items in line with policy.

Job description

• Compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Maintain job cards through the repair process by capturing parts and consumable usage to allocate the cost correctly
• Ensure that all parts are managed end to end using the Fleet Management System
• Ensure that all parts-related documentation is administered in line with company policy
• Ensure adequate stock lines and levels are maintained at all times with regular stock takes and reconciliation
• Unloading/loading of deliveries
• Sourcing parts at the best price and quality
• Upkeep and tidiness of the stores at all times in line with company health and safety policies
• Regular supplier reviews to ensure value for money and service at all times
• Maintain the stock supply to mobile workshop vans
• Manage the stock control for remote locations as and when required
• Ensure the timely return of repairable items in line with the surcharge and returns policy Administration experience
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of a wide range of vehicles and parts
• Ability to work to strict time control constraints
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google packages
• Experience in stock control in a fast-paced multi-manufacturing environment
