Job summary

Veolia is hiring in London for a stores/parts coordinator role. You will maintain parts stock, manage documentation, and ensure end-to-end control of parts through the repair and delivery process.

The role requires strong knowledge of vehicles and parts, sharp time management, and proficiency with Excel and Google tools. We offer 25 days leave, a company pension, and opportunities for training and volunteering.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of a wide range of vehicles and parts.
• Ability to work to strict time control constraints.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google packages.
• Experience in stock control in a fast-paced multi-manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain job cards through repair process by capturing parts usage and allocating costs.
• Manage parts end-to-end using Fleet Management System.
• Administer parts-related documentation per company policy.
• Maintain adequate stock levels with regular stock takes and reconciliations; unload/load deliveries.
• Source parts at best price and quality.
• Keep stores tidy and compliant with safety policies.
• Conduct regular supplier reviews for value and service.
• Maintain stock supply to mobile workshop vans.
• Manage stock control for remote locations as required.
• Ensure timely return of repairable items per policy.

Salary: Up to £33,797 plus Veolia benefits and pension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

What you'll be doing;

• Compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Maintain job cards through the repair process by capturing parts and consumable usage to allocate the cost correctly
• Ensure that all parts are managed end to end using the Fleet Management System
• Ensure that all parts-related documentation is administered in line with company policy
• Ensure adequate stock lines and levels are maintained at all times with regular stock takes and reconciliationUnloading/loading of deliveries
• Sourcing parts at the best price and quality
• Upkeep and tidiness of the stores at all times in line with company health and safety policies
• Regular supplier reviews to ensure value for money and service at all times
• Maintain the stock supply to mobile workshop vans
• Manage the stock control for remote locations as and when required
• Ensure the timely return of repairable items in line with the surcharge and returns policy
