This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Workshop Controller to join the UK’s leading Accident and Collision Repair specialists at our busy site in Mansfield.

Our Bodyshop is fast-paced and dynamic, offering lots of opportunities to make a significant impact and utilize your expertise. As a Workshop Controller, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Organizing the bodyshop by managing job statuses, conducting daily progress meetings with the team, and reporting delays to the General Manager.
  2. Ensuring all tools and equipment are in good condition, controlling waste and utilities, and overseeing security.
  3. Completing job cards accurately and maintaining shop floor procedures.
  4. Liaising with technicians and managers regarding quality issues.

Key to your success is producing work that meets high technical and quality standards and helps us deliver excellent service to customers.

About you

  1. You are ideally qualified to NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds or ATA, with a solid background in Bodyshop operations—whether as a Controller, Workshop Manager, or Quality Controller in a dealership, repair centre, or crash repair environment.
  2. You have experience working in a fast-paced environment, focused on producing compliant and high-quality work within standard timeframes.
  3. You possess a full UK/EU Driving Licence.
  4. You are proactive, team-oriented, and eager to contribute to FMG Repair Services with a hands-on approach.
  5. You take pride in delivering excellent customer service and understanding client needs.
