We sell, rent, supply parts, service, and repair equipment and engines to customers in various industries, including mining, construction, petroleum, forestry, and a wide range of power systems applications.

Job Description:

Major Job Functions
  • Understand and respond to customer requests, assess and prioritize needs, and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Plan jobs to maximize engineer productivity, manage job progress, and liaise to ensure mutual benefit.
  • Open and close work orders accurately to maximize billing and identify opportunities for safety and priority reworks.
  • Keep systems updated with accurate job information, load trial data to OEM websites, and manage internal drives.
  • Manage engineers (4-8), mentor, address performance issues, and conduct regular 1-2-1 meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to service processes for consistent customer service.

Education and Experience
  • Engineering qualification or understanding
  • At least 3 years in a technical or mechanical engineering role
  • Experience in a similar role and industry preferred
Accountability
  • Keep customers informed and ensure commitments are met
  • Ensure health and safety compliance
  • Maximize service revenue and control expenses
  • Manage approximately 100 work orders worth around £300k/month
  • Ensure first-time fix, response times, and promise date adherence
  • Communicate issues and coordinate solutions with supervisors

Flexible working hours between 7 am – 6 pm weekdays, with potential Saturday shifts. Responsible for planning and dispatching work orders.
