As Workshop Controller, you will oversee a team of engineers and ensure an excellent customer experience by optimizing resources to meet customer needs efficiently while maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Job Description:

Major Job Functions:
  1. Respond to customer requests, assess needs, and allocate resources accordingly.
  2. Plan and manage job progress to maximize engineer productivity and ensure customer satisfaction.
  3. Accurately open and close work orders, maximize billing, and manage safety reworks.
  4. Maintain up-to-date system records and load trial data.
  5. Manage and mentor engineers, ensuring high service standards and profitability.
  6. Ensure adherence to service processes for consistent customer service.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Customer service and relationship building skills.
  • Planning, organizing, and attention to detail.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills.
  • IT proficiency (Microsoft Office).
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of engineering, engine products, and relevant systems is desirable.
Experience and Education:
  • Foundational engineering qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years in a technical or mechanical engineering role.
  • Experience in a similar role preferred.
Accountability:
  • Maintain communication with customers and ensure safety and compliance.
  • Maximize service revenue and control expenses.
  • Manage work orders and ensure response times and first-time fix rates.
  • Report issues and coordinate solutions with supervisors.
Working Environment:

Office-based, with flexible hours between 7 am and 6 pm on weekdays, and potential Saturday work.
