Exciting brand new opportunity at Colchester Land Rover as we seek an experienced Workshop Controller to join our dynamic team in a state-of-the-art facility. This role offers a perfect opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Workshop Controller to advance their career within a premium brand environment. You will supervise and motivate our team of Technicians & Apprentices, proactively review and prioritize the daily workload.
As a key member of our business and the Aftersales Department, you will report to our Service Manager, Charlie, who will provide ongoing support and tools needed to excel. You will also have access to brand-specific training to help you progress within the Jaguar Land Rover brand and the motor trade industry.
The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring technicians meet their targets, assisting the Service Manager, and maintaining high customer satisfaction through quality checks.
The ideal candidate will have motor industry experience managing a team in a busy Service/Workshop environment, with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent). A solid understanding of COSHH legislation, trade practices, and consumer legislation is essential. Knowledge of quality control and inspection standards in a workshop is also required.
