Job summary

Winemark is recruiting a Sales Advisor for Northside. You will help customers, maintain product knowledge, and support the Store Manager with sales, security and stock control. This role includes promoting products, maintaining stock standards and ensuring a safe, compliant store environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 months in retail, strong communication skills, and a professional appearance. A driving license and wine knowledge are desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent
• Three months previous experience in a retail environment
• Communication Skills – ability to communicate with customers; written, verbal and listening skills
• Customer-focused approach delivering high-quality service
• Ability to actively sell to customers
• Personal drive and a positive, can-do attitude
• Good dress and appearance; well groomed
• Team player with ability to work in a team

Responsibilities

• To assist in customer relations by maintaining excellent customer service at all times, including up-to-date knowledge of store products
• Identifying selling opportunities and acting on these
• Housekeeping standards inside and outside the store
• Stock is controlled and merchandised to Company standards
• Assist with promotional set up
• Ensure premises are safe and secure
• Comply with cash handling, administration and licensing regulations
• Follow health and safety information and trading standards
