Job summary

Winemark Beechmount is seeking a Sales Advisor for a 16-hour position to deliver exceptional customer service and share wine knowledge with customers.

The role includes assisting the Store Manager, maintaining store standards, handling stock and promotions, and ensuring safety and compliance with cash handling procedures. GCSEs in Maths and English are required, and prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent.
• Three months' experience in a retail environment.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to actively sell to customers.
• Professional appearance and team-oriented attitude.
• Motivation and proactive attitude.
• Good dress and personal presentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service with up-to-date knowledge of store products.
• Identify selling opportunities and act on them.
• Maintain housekeeping standards inside and outside the store.
• Ensure stock is controlled and merchandised to company standards.
• Assist with promotional setup.
• Ensure premises are safe and secure at all times.
• Comply with cash handling and administration regulations.
• Follow health and safety information and licensing/trading standards.
