Job summary

SeeMe Hired Ltd is seeking a Sales Advisor for a part-time 20-hour week at Newton Park. You will provide excellent customer service, maintain product knowledge, identify selling opportunities and support store operations and promotions.

Ideal candidates have at least three months in retail, strong communication skills, and a professional appearance. A proactive, team-oriented attitude and ability to work collaboratively are essential.

Qualifications

• Three months previous experience in a retail environment
• Communication skills—effective with internal and external customers; good written, verbal and listening skills
• Customer focused—delivers high quality service and exceeds customer expectations
• Ability to actively sell to customers
• Personal drive and a positive, enthusiastic attitude
• Good standard of dress and appearance—clean and well groomed
• A good team player with the ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in customer relations by maintaining excellent service and up-to-date product knowledge
• Identify selling opportunities and act on them
• Maintain housekeeping standards inside and outside the store
• Ensure stock is controlled and merchandised to company standards
• Assist with promotional setup
• Ensure premises are safe and secure at all times
• Comply with cash handling, administration, health and safety and licensing requirements
• Perform other duties relevant to the post
