Job summary

Majestic Wine Group in Bath is seeking a dynamic Sales Assistant to support the store team, drive sales and run daily store operations. You will deliver excellent customer service and help create an outstanding shopping experience for every customer.

The role requires a full UK manual driving license, eligibility to work evenings and weekends, and a 30-hour week. You will be a key holder and contribute to store performance while upholding Majestic’s standards.

• Hold a full UK manual driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and KPI delivery.
• Deliver exceptional market leading customer service to drive business growth through loyalty and repeat purchases.
• Provide VIP concierge service, contacting customers with updates on products and tastings.
• Sell the story of our wines and share passion with customers through knowledge.
• Develop wine knowledge to support your WSET qualification and confidence in selling.
• Maintain the physical appearance and maintenance of the store.
• Handle day-to-day operations including delivering wine, merchandising and calls to customers.
• Identify opportunities to improve store operations and feed ideas to the team.
• Remain compliant, safe and legal by following policies and training.
• Support junior team members and report to Store Manager.
• As a key holder, manage opening/closing compliance and operate without management.
